BauTV+ App: Germany’s first mobile solution for AI-powered construction site documentation brings live insights and smart analytics to smartphones and tablets

(Blankenburg, 1 October 2025) NetCo is the first German provider to make the documentation of construction progress available via smartphone: Building on the already established “BauTV+” web portal, NetCo has now developed an app of the same name for construction site documentation, allowing project managers to keep an eye on their site at all times via a live view. The major advantage: your own construction project is immediately at your fingertips – without having to go via a browser, and therefore always quick and easy to access.

Construction site updates straight to your smartphone – with the BauTV+ app

The BauTV+ construction site camera app offers all the familiar features of the web portal: live images from the NetCo construction site camera, time-lapse videos, archive access and smart analytics are now also available via smartphone at any time. Thanks to AI-powered activity detection and automated event recording, users can keep track of construction progress, weather data and movements on site – securely and in compliance with data protection regulations through automatic pixelation and encrypted data transmission.

Greater transparency for all stakeholders

The BauTV+ app is a practical tool for all construction stakeholders actively managing and coordinating a construction project. Site managers, project managers, engineering firms and investors in particular benefit from the mobile availability of key image data and analyses – whether the project involves building construction, civil engineering or infrastructure. The app facilitates coordination, promotes transparency and saves time. “We are currently the only provider in Germany offering an app for the comprehensive documentation of construction processes using a camera,” explains Thomas Grassmann, Head of Construction Site Cameras at NetCo. “This means project managers always have the necessary data at their fingertips for making quick decisions.”

The BauTV+ app is now available to download free of charge from the app stores and is compatible with all NetCo construction site cameras that have access to the web portal.
